He Even Looks Guilty

We caught you, Chef Bameril and we had fun doing it.  It was a lovely masquerade ball until Sherlock up and died, but who killed him?  Just looking at Bameril you know the guy was up to no good, plus all the rumors about food illness due to poor bathroom hygiene.  I was playing the character of Luke a standup comedian/food inspector and Catherine was Pepper a tv producer who was supposed to sing instead of talk but someone wasn't that into her role.  Thanks to Danell for putting on a fabulous murder mystery dinner with a gourmet spread and a whole lot of fun.   Oh...and Magniffe, I know Sherlock's dead and your still grieving, but have I mentioned, "I just got out of a long term relationship"...

Summer Sleepover

Max has been wanting to have his friend Tommy sleep over for awhile and we finally had the opportunity, but unfortunately it was during the heatwave.   The boys weren't too excited to do anything outside but I dragged them to safety town anyway but the boys enjoyed going off road and riding their bikes and scooter down the grassy hills.  Hayes decided to play  it safe though and stayed on the road.   Hayes also decided that he was jealous that he didn't have a friend too, so he decided to introduce himself to a slug.  He was very excited about the slug and literally hung around the slug for a 20 minutes and even tried to kiss it goodbye.

Whoo! Whoo!

That's the sound we heard Hayes make all evening at the fire expo outside Grand Prairie.   Hayes loves fire trucks probably second only to trains and he enjoyed getting to climb in them and got a shot at spraying a fire hose.  Whoo...whooo!

Burn Baby Burn...

Here are some great pictures of a fun small group cookout at Michael & Crystal's with our small group.  We ended up play quite a few games of washers which is similar to bags only with metal washers.   The summer heatwave wasn't in full swing because I can't imagine anyone enjoying a fire like that with a 100 degree temps, but this was early summer fun with friends.
